QAMAR exists to help Shia children build a meaningful, confident and lasting connection with their faith, identity and the Ahlulbayt.
We turn the stories, values and heritage we treasure into something children genuinely want to pick up, explore and come back to, not because they have to, but because it belongs to them.
Our children are growing up in a different world.
Our children have access to more content than any generation before them.
They know the characters in their favourite games. They wait for the next episode of their favourite shows. They collect cards, solve challenges, follow stories and immerse themselves in worlds created especially for them.
But when it comes to their own Shia identity, too often the experience looks very different.
The stories of the Ahlulbayt are among the most extraordinary stories they will ever inherit... stories of courage, justice, compassion, sacrifice, knowledge and faith.
We believe they deserve to be presented with just as much creativity, care and imagination.
That's why we created QAMAR.
QAMAR is a monthly magazine created especially for Shia children aged 7–13.
Through beautifully told stories, illustrations, activities, puzzles, games and collectibles, we want children to discover their faith in a format that feels like it was actually made for them.
Not another worksheet.
Not something they only open because an adult tells them to.
Something they wait for at the door.

I know my story
Our children should grow up knowing the Prophet ﷺ, Sayyida Fatima (ع), the Imams (ع) and the extraordinary people and events that shaped their heritage.
I'm proud of who I am
Shia identity shouldn't feel distant from everyday childhood. We want children to see their faith represented beautifully, confidently and positively in something created especially for them.

The goal isn't simply to give children answers. It's to create curiosity... the kind that makes a child finish a story and ask, “What happened next?”

QAMAR is proudly created from a Shia Islamic perspective.
Our content is centred on the Qur'an, Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and the teachings and lives of the Ahlulbayt (ع), presented thoughtfully and appropriately for young readers.
We take seriously the responsibility that comes with creating religious content for children. Our aim is to make complex ideas accessible without losing the respect and integrity they deserve.

QAMAR began with a simple observation: Shia children growing up in Australia deserve high-quality children's media that understands both their faith and the world they're growing up in.
We are beginning here in Australia, but our ambition is bigger: to create stories and experiences that Shia children around the world can call their own.
